Raudonikis tackles Howard over IR

After years of lining up and knocking over opposing backlines and forward packs, Rugby League legend, Tom Raudonikis, is now lining up to knock over the Howard Government and its attack on people's rights at work

Venue: Perry Park, off Peninsula Drive, Surfers Paradise (UBD Map 39 Reference M7) - the park next to Avalon construction site

Main launch in Brisbane

Time: 12.00noon

Venue: SW1 (Hutchinson) building site, South Brisbane - smoko shed area entered from Cordelia Street (away from areas requiring special OH&S measures)

Tom Raudonikis

Tom Raudonikis was one of Australia's greatest ever Rugby League players and halfbacks, playing for Sydney Wests, Sydney Newtown, NSW and Australia throughout the 1970s and early 80s. He captained the NSW team in the inaugural State of Origin match in 1980.

He has also coached in Sydney, Brisbane and Ipswich. He coached the NSW State of Origin side in the mid-1990s.

He now lives in Brisbane.
