PSA ban on use Cessna 310 liftedDate: 05 August 2008
The PSA ban on the use of Cessna 310s for juvenile transport has been lifted. The Public Service Association and the Department of Juvenile Justice met to discuss concerns with the use of Cessna 310 Aircraft for the transport of juvenile offenders. The Department has now advised the PSA that they are already undertaking an extensive risk evaluation of the Cessna 310 aircraft and air transport procedures. The PSA has directed members in the Transport Unit of the Department of Juvenile Justice to lift the ban on the use of the Cessna 310 aircraft.
