Bullying in the workplace
The Howard government has been very vocal about so-called “union thugs” in recent months, when the reality is somewhat different - as a message left on the voicemail of a union official this week clearly shows. Performers demand R-E-S-P-E-C-T
Australian performers have been left reeling with the news that the Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) has terminated the agreement covering the production of commercials for overseas markets.

Down to the wire with the AUSFTA
This is it! The Opposition is set to vote on the AUSFTA on Monday morning 2 August 2004 - it is our last chance to get our message across loud and clear. The impact on Australia's cultural industries will be critical and irreversible - it places restrictions on future governments to control the future of the Australian voice on Australian screens. Our stories won't be heard. Our accent won't be heard. And our country won't be seen. 28 July 2004 [Read More]
